You and me

This is a layout I did for the Orange Paperie scrapbooking challenge site....the criteria was to use hexagons and stamping.  I have used the beautiful Meg's Garden papers, Prima flowers and chipboard.  The hidden journalling behind the photo is on a little tag that I gave to my mum and asked her to write down something about me.....she was finding it difficult to write at this stage and when I was sorting through the things on the table beside her chair I found it.  She had written...."I Love you".....all the journalling I needed.  Another layout for my special book about her.  A great healing process.  x

Forever in our hearts

Another page for my book of memories about my dear mum.  Hard to believe it is nearly one year since she left us........still miss her dearly.  When I do these layouts they just seem to come together so easily.  The little "tag" up the top left corner was painted by her mother and she also wrote in it.  This is my favourite photo of my mum.  x

LOVE YOU

This layout is of my eldest son when he was 3 months old.....I have always loved this photo of him.  My inspiration for this layout is from the beautiful work of Melinda Thompson.  x

I HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED!!

Sooo excited.......three of my layouts have been published in Australian Scrapbook Ideas Magazine.  As you know this book about the special memories with my dear mum is very dear to me and to have some of the pages acknowledged is awesome. 

Anniversary Card

This card I made for my son's 3rd WeddingAnniversary.  The photo is of the bouquet my daughter in law carried and the little touch of lace on the white flower is a snippet from her dress.  I have popped a Charms Creations fabulous flower in there as well.  x

Beautiful memories canvas

A canvas I made in memory of my beautiful mother.  I am so pleased that I had this lovely photo of us. I have had this layout in my "to do" box for ages.  The design is from a step by step by Nerrida Mitchell over at Anna's Craft Cupboard.   The 'heavenly heart' and the peach coloured flowers are from Charms Creations.  The fabric flower is handmade by Jane Smith.  x

For my sister's birthday we made these strawberry butterfly cupcakes and I made her a tag as well.  She loved them both.   x

Beautiful girl 

This is the first page of the book of memories of my mum I am making.  I love her chubby little cheeks.  The lace at the bottom is from a collection that belonged to her mother.  I really miss my mum but am finding doing this book is very healing and keeping me close to her.  x
